Faisalabad: Two death row convicts were executed in different jails today. 

Death row convict Shahid Shafiq was hanged in District Jail Faisalabad. Shahid Shafiq was guilty of killing his aunt in 1996, over a domestic dispute. Another death row prisoner, Gul Muhammad, was hanged in the Central Jail Haripur. Gul Muhammad was awarded death sentence by an anti terrorist court in Mardan.

The bodies were handed over to relatives after medico-legal formalities.
