On Thursday, British actor Riz Ahmed launched an effort to improve the way Muslims are shown and depicted in films when a study showed that they were either barely seen or when they were shown in a movie they were portrayed as a negative entity.
The Sound of Metal star and the first Muslim to actually get a best actor Oscar nomination exclaimed that the Blueprint for including Muslims would be inclusive of funding and guidance for Muslim story tellers at the beginning of their careers.
