PFF hails ball boys for commendable display

LAHORE Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, Secretary General Lt.Col (r) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi, Director Operation Wng Cmdr (r) Pervaiz Saeed Mir have appreciated the untiring effort of ball-pickers who were seen in action during the recently-concluded KPT-PFF Cup at KPT-Benazir Complex, Karachi. The timely throw-in into the pitch and retrieval of ball boys were praiseworthy and second to none. Football Youth Development Centre (FYDC), Usmanabad provided the 16 ball pickers to Local Organizing Committee (LOC), trained by Muhammad Javed, one of the coaches working for AFC AID-27 Coaches Scheme introduced by PFF in collaboration with AFC in Pakistan in 2005. To groom young boys of around eight is not an easy job but I achieved my goal. I did my effort with day/night efficiency and it is not a mere achievements for me as my boy won the heart of PFFs top-brass, and even Technical officials and KPT management appreciated the work of youngsters. My gratification and thanks to PFF President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat for giving my boys opportunity to show their progress on Kharadars soil. The heroic work of PFF boss for soccer promotion will be remembered ever. Usmanabad-based FYDC will continue to support PFF whenever they would call us , said Sui Southern Gas Companys former player Javed who fielded Karachi White in PFF U14 Youth Cup.
