KARACHI (APP) Former Pakistans Senior Davis Cupper Khawaja Saeed Hai has demanded the International Tennis Federation (ITF) action against New Zealand for not playing their Davis Cup tie against Pakistan in Pakistan as per schedule. Pakistan has suffered financially and lost home advantage as the team refuses to play in Pakistan on security fears, he said on Wednesday. He asked the ITF to press Kiwis to play in Pakistan as there is no security problem in staging Asia Ocenia Zone-II Davis Cup Tennis tie in Pakistan. Saeed Hai, who is also chief selector of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) said, if New Zealand refused to play their in Pakistan they may be penalised for default. He said Pakistan tennis players played a number of matches overseas because security problem and losing a lot of money on travel expenses etc so it is duty of ITF for compensate for the financial lose they suffered in the past. Saeed complimented Aisamul Haq Qureshi, Aqeel Khan and other member of the team for fantastic win against Hong Kong in their home conditions.
