KARACHI - Deputy Managing Director and Managing Editor of the Nawa-i-Waqt Group Ms Rameeza Nizami called on Governor Sindh Dr Ishratual Ibaad on Wednesday at Governor House. Dr Ishratul Ibaad briefed Ms Nizami on the prevailing situation in Karachi in particular and the province in general. Other issues of national importance also featured in the discussion. Ms Rameeza Nizami informed the Governor of the Nawa-i-Waqt Groups editorial policies and shared with him future expansion plans of print and electronic media organisations under its banner. Provincial Minister for Industry Mr Rauf Siddiqui, who was also present on the occasion, presented a collection of his books to Ms Nizami. Mr Hafiz Tariq, Director News of the Groups Waqt news channel issued an invitation to the Governor to visit the offices and studios of Waqt News, which the Governor accepted.
