KARACHI - The Sindh Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested an alleged kidnapper and recovered a captive from his possession from Sadi Town area.

According to police, the Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Malir Cannt Police, in a joint raid at Sadi Town area, arrested an alleged kidnaper namely Abbas and recovered a eight-year-old boy identified as Muhammad Yasin.

The police informed that the victim was abducted from Ziaul Haq Colony on Friday. During the preliminary investigation the kidnapper confessed to have kidnapped his neighbor’s son, Yasin, to get Rs0.5 million in ransom. The police have registered a case.

Sehar Foundation organises medical camp: The Sehar Foundation arranged a daylong medical camp here on Saturday for female teachers of schools and colleges to mark International Women’s Day.

Dr Feroz, Prof Ghulam Ali, Dr Tayyba and others provided medical facilities to patients. Chairman Sehar Foundation Iftkhar Ghazali more than 250 patients were provided free medical check-up and medicines.

He said teachers are important part of society and there should be a health policy for them at government level.
