RAWALPINDI - Brigadier Ali Khan has been shifted from Sialkot to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) in Rawalpindi owing to his health condition.
Counsel for Brig Ali Khan, Colonel (r) Inamur Rahim told a private TV channel that his client’s health deteriorated suddenly during the trial and he was shifted to the AFIC on the court’s order. Brig Ali Khan was taken into custody from the GHQ a few months ago on charges of ties with defunct organisation Hizbut Tehreek. His companions were also held after interrogation. Later, a court martial was also recommended after completion of summary of evidence and he had been indicted on charges of having ties with the banned organisation.
