KARACHI (PPI) - In a meeting chaired by Sindh Inspector General (IG) of Police Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, it was decided that more Madadgar-15 centres will be set up on police sub-division level and a separate wireless channel will be allotted to Madadgar-15 to make it further effective.

This was decided in a meeting held at Central Police Office here on Saturday. The IGP sought recommendations in 48 hours in his directives given to SSPs of all districts. On the occasion, the IG awarded cash prizes and commendatory certificates to the officials of Madagar-15 centres of Gizri and Khokrapar police stations for their good performance. He said officials showing good performance would be rewarded every monthly to encourage them and further enhance their efficiency.

He directed SSPs of districts to improve performance of Madadgar-15 through individual and as well as collective endeavours in order to facilitate public. Assistant Sub inspector Akhtar Hussain, Najamul Hassan, Ilahi Bakhsh, Rashid, Ahmed Bakhsh, Ghulam Khokhar, Hussain Muhammad and Amir Hamza were given cash awards and appreciation certificates by IGP and AIG Karachi.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Madadgar-15 centres are serving public at Nazimabad, Haideri Market, North Karachi, Aisha Manzil, SITE Area, Lalazar, SeeView, Defense, Lyari, Saddar, Brooks Chowrangi, Tariq Road, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Malir and Gadap Town.
