LAHORE – Ambassador of Oman Mohammad Bin Said Bin Mohammad Al Lawati called on Punjab Governor Latif Khosa at Governor’s House here Saturday and discussed various matters of mutual interest.

On this occasion, the Governor said Pakistan has long friendly relations with Oman and wishes to further strengthen these ties in all fields for the mutual benefit of the people of the two brotherly countries. He said Pakistan offers a wide range of facilities to international investors. He said Omani investors should utilise these opportunities and invest in Pakistan.

The Governor also said that there is a need to have regular contact at all levels and in all areas of economics, trade, commerce, manpower, culture and education. He said that 170,000 strong Pakistani expatriates have been making valuable contributions in the development of Oman.

 Oman may accommodate more skilled workers from Pakistan, he added. The Governor appreciated the visionary leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
