ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Under-14 team comprising Syed Nofil Kaleem Imam and Abdal Haider of Lahore left for Doha (Qatar) to participate in the Asian Tennis Federation Qatar U-14 Asian Junior Championship  starts today (Sunday).
Team coach Kamran Khalil said this in an exclusive talk with TheNation before their departure. Kamran, ITF Level II qualified coach, said that the boys were taking giant strides as far as their international exposure was concerned.
“It’s true the youngsters are not winning big matches yet but one has to keep in mind our boys are just started to participate in the Asian circuit events and their opponents are much higher ranked players with vast experience of playing at this level,” he added.  “Both the youngsters are more than capable of beating any of the top ranked player on their day and let me assure all that if things went right for us and boys played to their potential we will return as crowned ATF Under-14 champions,” Kamran concluded.
