Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested six outlaws involved in street crime, dacoities and recovered weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday.
He said that SP (Rural) Syed Mustafa Tanveer assigned the task to SHO Koral Police Station to ensure arrest of those involved in dacoity incidents in the area. He along with his team succeeded to nab three dacoits identified as Zeeshan, Khurram and Asif Rahseed besides recovering three pistols and ammunition from them.
They confessed to have been involved in dacoities in various areas of Koral.
Meanwhile, Margallah police team arrested Teeran Shehzad, Waqas and Kashif Jan who confessed to have been involved in various street crime cases. Police also recovered two 30 bore pistols from them. Ramana police nabbed Najeeb and Nisar for possessing unlicensed weapons. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
