LAHORE - PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari yesterday spent one and a half hours with the family of slain Punjab Governor Salman Taseer whose son Shahbaz Taseer was released from the captivity of Taliban on last Tuesday.

Bilawal Bhutto had specially flown to the city from Karachi to greet Taseer’s family over the recovery of Shahbaz and share their joy which the family had after a long ordeal. Amid tight security he was escorted to the Cavalry Ground residence of Salman Taseer where he spent about one and a half hours with Amna Taseer, Shahbaz Taseer, Shaharyar Taseer, Maheen Taseer and their other family members.

Only a picture showing Bilawal sitting with the Taseers was released to the media and no media talk could come about despite a long wait of reporters outside the residence.
