Rawalpindi - The Airports Security Force (ASF) held a couple at the Benazir Bhutto Islamabad International Airport (BBIIAP) when 11 bullets were found in their luggage during routine checking, sources informed yesterday.

According to sources, a team of ASF was conducting routine checking of the luggage of passengers boarding in Islamabad-Dubai flight number EK-613 when it found 11 bullets of 2.2 bore pistol in the luggage of a couple identified as Muhammad Azeem and Jamshed Begum. The ASF held the couple and shifted them to Police Station Airport for legal action.

Talking to The Nation, SHO PS Airport Chaudhry Jamil said that police booked the couple under section 13/20/65 of PPC and would produce them before a court today (Friday).
