Rawalpindi-A 16-year-old boy was mercilessly murdered allegedly by a fake pir along with his unknown accomplices at Shrine Bal Sharif in limits of Police Station (PS) Taxila, informed sources on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Nasir, whose dead body was moved to hospital for autopsy.  Police have registered a murder case and held Sarwar Shah, the fake pir, they said. The parents and other area people staged a massive protest demo at GT Road in Taxila blocking it for vehicular movement that paralysed normal life in the area.

Heavy contingent of police headed by SDPO Taxila Syed Tahir Abbas Kazmi rushed to the scene and tried to open road for traffic by negotiating with protestors.

According to details, the boy, Nasir, went missing mysteriously from home two days ago. They said the family conducted search for missing boy but could not found him. 

They said father of the boy received call from an unknown number on his cell phone that body of his son was lying near Shrine Bal Sharif. Sources said parents rushed to the scene and found body of their son in a very bad condition. “The face of the boy was disfigured after cutting his throat,” they said. The inhuman murder of boy sent shockwaves in the area sparking massive protest by parents and locals, they added.

A police spokesman told media that police have arrested the suspect namely Sarwar Shah in connection with murder case of Nasir and a case was also filed. He said the police had held negotiations with protestors to open the road. He said the police would solve the murder case on merit and would get the killers punished from court of law. On the other hand, the commuters suffered a lot due to closure of GT Road. Bumper to bumper traffic jam occurred in Taxila and Wah Cantt causing immense troubles for commuters, traders and pedestrians. Rahul Basharat, a car owner, told The Nation he had struck in massive traffic jam and found no way to get out of it. He said traffic police are seen nowhere to ease traffic rush.
