The Hangu police Monday thwarted terrorism bid saving the area from large- scale destruction by defusing a five-kilogram local made bomb planted here in the main bazaar. Meanwhile, unknown armed men set ablaze two shops here at Azmat market. Fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire. However, the shops were reduced to ashes while other shops were also affected by the incident. No human loss was reported in the incident.
