ISLAMABAD (Online) - A three-member Judicial Commission constituted by the government in connection with recovery of missing persons has started functioning. The commission held its first meeting Monday at the Interior Ministrys Crisis Cell, which was attended by Akram Chaudhry Advocate, Chairperson Human Rights Commission of Pakistan Asma Jahangir, Amna Masud Janjua and Vice-President Pakistan Bar council Abu Inam. The commission is headed by Justice (r) Noor Alam while Justice (r) Nasira Javed and Justice (r) Fazlur Rehman are the remaining members. It was decided in the meeting that all the record pertaining to missing persons should be collected while all the decisions pronounced by the SC during 2005 to 2010 in missing persons cases would be presented before the commission. Next meeting of the commission is scheduled on May 13.
