PESHAWAR- A powerful explosion heard near renowned Faqeerabad area located in the provincial capital of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
Four persons lost their lives while at least eight persons got serious injuries following the high-intensity explosion near an entertainment place, Parda Park. Rescue teams have reached the location; shifting the injured persons to Lady Reading Hospital. Hospital sources said that several injured persons were in critical condition following major injuries. Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies deployed at the location. Security forces cordoned off whole area to provide ease for workers for rescue activities. Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has been called at the incident’s site in order to find out the genre of explosion.
