ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid today said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is unaware of the country’s politics.
Talking to the media after inaugurating Education and Career Expo in Pak-China Centre, the Federal Minister said that whatever Bilawal says was in one ear and out the other for him.
Pervaiz Rashid said that Bilawal was unaware of politics conducted by his mother, former Prime Minister (PM) and grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He censured Bilawal for ‘being a fan of the person who celebrated late Bhutto’s execution’.
The minister reiterated that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif would address the Parliament very soon.
It may be noted that, on Tuesday, Bilawal had addressed a rally in Azad Kashmir’s Bagh.
Referring to Panama leaks, he stated that his party demands transparent investigation in the matter. He recommended PM Nawaz to relinquish his post, adding that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) government was facing turbulence.
He alleged the Prime Minister of wrongly involving PPP leaders in legal cases whose authenticity was questionable. He further stated that unlike PML-N leaders, they should stay in the country and face the allegations leveled against them.
PPP co-chairman mentioned Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in his speech and asked why he was not be held accountable after he admitted to his involvement in money laundering in regards to the Hudaibiya Paper Mill plan.
