Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that he will not with draw from his stance on the issue of the chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

On Thursday, Nawaz accused chairman NAB for false allegations and demanded to present proof money laundering against within 24 hours or resign.

Nawaz Sharif was addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday following NAB's decision to probe alleged laundering of $4.9 billion to India by Nawaz and others.

The World Bank had rebutted the media report on which it was based, stating that its Remittances and Migration Report did not mention any money laundering or name individuals.

Nawaz remarked that such situations did not even occur during dictatorships.

He regarded that chairman NAB’s recent decision to launch a money- laundering probe is not a minor issue but a serious matter.
