LAHORE - Several office-bearers and workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Gujrat chapter, joined the PML-Q on Wednesday. The PML-N leaders and workers from Gujrat district announced this in a meeting with Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, senior central leader of PML-Q at his residence. The PML-N leaders and workers who joined PML-Q included Rafaqat Butt, general secretary PML-N tehsil Gujrat, vice president, Shahbaz Baig, president union council Mangwal, Nadeem Butt and others. On this occasion the newly-entrants to the ranks of PML-Q while showing confidence in the leadership of PML-Q chief, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi expressed their dislike to the policies of the PML-N, which they termed as anti-people. They said Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahis era was the best, as his government had started maximum number of projects for public welfare and that was the reason for joining the PML-Q. They claimed the PML-N leadership had always betrayed its friends and loyalists, as they only believed in serving their personal interests.
