ISLAMABAD - While criticising the reconciliation policy of 'Makhdoom (caretaker) and 'Khadim (servant) which added miseries to the public, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has reiterated to hold countrywide protests under the leadership of Imran Khan against unbearable raise in prices. The government could not be able to assert its own resolve if the Parliament would have real opposition instead of friendly opposition. Umer Sarfraz Cheema, Central Information Secretary of PTI said this while addressing a party meeting conducted to discuss the policy and planning regarding demonstration here at the partys central secretariat. He said that PTI would launch an exemplary protest movement in all the provinces and in the Capital city against unkind and continuous price hike. While wasting precious time on non-issues, Opposition had been protecting the government for last three years, he maintained. He blamed that the leadership of both the political parties had indulged in looting national exchequer and was from those who had waived off loans and consequently people of Pakistan were forced to bear their miseries in the form of price hike, corruption and injustice. However, PTI is committed to liberating public from their cruel clutches, he added PTI leader Umer Sarfraz Cheema also lamented the royal living style of the rulers and termed the present economic environment of the country worse than sixty-three years of the economic history. He was of the view that the Government remained indolent to public affairs, as it had settled corruption and commission as its main objectives. Height of misfortune was that Haj and 'Watan cards had become a business in the country.
