KARACHI Pakistans exports have grown by 13 per cent in the first four months of current fiscal year 2011-12. According to statistics, Pakistans exports during October 2011 were recorded at $1.896 billion, which were 2.2 per cent lower than the level of $1.938 billion during October 2010. However, imports during October 2011 were valued at $3.607 billion, registering a growth of 12.9 per cent over the level of imports valued at $3.196 billion in October 2010. Pakistans exports during July-October 2011-12 were recorded at $7.899 billion, while in the corresponding period of the last year 2010-11, the exports were registered at $6.996 billion, which shows 13 per cent growth. Imports during July-October 2011-12 were $14.313 billion as compared to $12.225 billion during the same period of the year 2010-11, registering 17.1 per cent growth.
