Man breaks into home to watch TV

A man has been arrested in Portland, Oregon for breaking and entering another persons home in order to watch their television. Jason Lee Bastrom faces charges of criminal trespass for entering the house, according to The Oregonian. Police report that the 32-year-old let himself into an unlocked front door of the house in the early hours of Sunday last week, and proceeded to sit down on the sofa to watch television. The homeowner found the man, and rang the authorities. He also sent over a family member to speak to Bastrom. The family member then reportedly punched Bastrom in the head, knocking him unconscious. Bastrom was treated for injuries at a nearby hospital, before being charged. DS
