JHANG - At least five people including three women and a minor child were killed in different mishaps occurred in part of the district over the past 24 hours. As per detail, four people including a two-year-old minor child were killed while three others sustained critical injuries in road accident at Adda Kappan near Bhuwana on Jhang-Chiniot. Hakim Ali, son of Muhammad Yar, a resident of Nawan Thatha situated in the limit of Bhuwana Police was on the way back to his village in a motorcycle rickshaw along with his brother Zulfiqar, sister Mumtaz Bibi, sister-in-law Irshad Bibi and his minor nephew Ali Raza. When they reached Adda Kappan a speeding truck hit the motorcycle rickshaw. IN the meantime an over speeding trailer coming from the rare crushed them. Resultantly Zulfiqar, Mumtaz Bibi, Irshad Bibe and minor Ali Raza died on the spot while Hakim Ali, Dilawar Khan and Ghulam Murtaza sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to hospital while the truck and trailer drivers fled the scene. The Bhuwana Police have registered a case against. In another incident, a man killed her married niece for honour. As per detail, Rab Nawaz and Qaiser, residents of Chak 266/JB situated in the Mochiwala Police precincts suspected Nazia Bibi of having developed illicit relations with someone of the same village. At which they became furious and opened indiscriminate firing, killing her on the spot. The police have registered a case.
