ISLAMABAD – A two-day Aalmi Ittehad-e-Ummat Conference will start today (Sunday) aimed at gathering the whole Muslim Ummah at one platform to forge unity in their ranks.

The conference will be held under the aegis of the Milli Yekjehti Council (MYJC). Members of all religio-political parties including JI Chief Munawar Hasan, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman, JUP chief Dr Abu Al-Khair Zubair, Allama Sajid Naqvi and others are expected to participate in the conference.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Qazi Hussain Ahmed other day told the media that personalities from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Tunisia, Iran, Iraq and other countries had been invited to attend the conference.

The conference will give a formula to unite the Muslim Ummah and give a direction to the nation, he said.
