Rawalpindi - Senior photojournalist Amjad Chaudhry has passed away in a local hospital here on Friday. Amjad Chaudhry was associated with an Urdu national daily as photographer in Rawalpindi. He is survived by his widow, a son and a daughter.
According to details, senior photojournalist Amjad Chaudhry suffered from chest pain early in the morning in his house and was rushed to a local hospital for medical treatment. However, he could not survive. His funeral prayer was offered in a ground opposite to the Kohinoor Textiles Mill on Peshawar Road. The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of politicians belonging to political and religious parties, lawyers, traders and journalist community of twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
