The joining leader and activists also showed their confidence in the leadership of Aftab Sherpao and the party provincial Chairman Sikandar Hayat Sherpao.

Sherpao said that the U-turn of the PPP has not in the interests of the small provinces and it would further aggravate their sense of deprivation.

He said that it’s the demand of the PPP if elections were held on the basis of the 1998 census delimitation. The question will be aroused as it would void the struggle of the political parties for the conveyance of the hoarier census process, he said.

He said that such demands would jeopardize the timely polls.

He said that according to the new census, the constituencies in the KP and Baluchistan had been increased and any constitutional and legal battle over the matter could deprive the masses of the smaller provinces from their legal rights.  He said that democracy is vital for the national development and prosperity and asked for bringing about purity and betterment in the democratic system to address the problem of the miserable masses through the vote bank.

Aftab Sherpao expressed concern over the census results in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and added that the population of Fata had reduced to a minimum under a designed conspiracy in the fresh count, which would deprive the tribal region of their rightful share in the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award.

“We believed that the merger of Fata with Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was likely to end the sufferings of the tribal people and ensure them all fundamental rights. Sherpao urged the federal government to revise its foreign policy, adding that it should be revived in the best national interests. He said that both the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan, especially the Pakhtun nation on both sides of the borders, adversely affected in the war against terrorism.

Aftab Sherpao also criticized PTI Chief Imran Khan for neglecting the province while continuing to the slogan for change.  He said Imran Khan isn’t taking interest in resolving the serious problems of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa as his policies focused on Punjab.

He said that in the last four-and-half-year, the provincial government brought no real progress in the province and had started the developmental works show off as a stunt for the coming general election which was nothing more than befooling the masses.

The QWP leader said that the countdown for the exposure of the PTI’s hollow claims of change had begun and that the people of KP would vote Imran Khan’s party out in the next general elections.

He said KP faced serious financial and administrative crises but the provincial government had begun to spend millions of rupees on a media campaign to highlight its so-called achievements.

Sherpao further said that the people were joining the QWP droves because now the people of the province have realized that only QWP can serve them. He said that some political parties threatening national security for own interests.
