ISLAMABAD- Benazir International Airport’s runway has been closed for flights due to oil spread on the runway.
According to media reports, PIA’s free flight was coming from Jeddah and performed a technical landing at Islamabad Air port. The place suffered some technical issues during landing and burst the hydraulic gear which caused oil spreading on the runway while plane was also stuck there. However Islamabad Airport declared emergency to clear the runway and was closed for all kinds of flights. Meanwhile four planes are still waiting in the Islamabad sky for landing.
