LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday sent Mohammad Khan, the security guard of Abdul Qadir Gilani, on a 14-day judicial remand for allegedly killing a youth.

Police produced Muhammad Khan before Judge Ayub Marth. The counsel for the accused pleaded before the judge that Khan assumed Tahir as attacker and did aerial firing but a bullet accidentally pieced his eye and he died on the spot. An Investigation Officer told the judge that the interrogation had been completed and the weapon used in murder had also been recovered. Upon which, a judge sent the accused to jail on Judicial remand.
