LAHORE  - Showing solidarity with bereaved families of citizens killed by Indian forces in Shakargarh and Bajwat sector of Sialkot District, the Lahore High Court Bar Association has condemned the firing and demanded the government to raise the issue at international level.

The bar has also demanded the government to provide proper treatment to the injured and announce financial compensation for affected families. The bar also carried a resolution against the Indian aggression.

Addressing the general house held at bar office on Friday, Lahore High Court Bar Association President Shahfqat Mahmood Chohan said that the bar condemned the Indian forces for their unprovoked firing and for spreading terror in Sialkot district.  

He said India was violating international laws and killing innocent and unarmed citizens of Pakistan. He asked the government to take up the issue with United Nations and respond the Indian aggression in the same coin.

On this occasion, the crowded house chanted slogans against the Indian government for resorting to unprovoked firing.

At least 20 people killed and many others severely injured during the last four days by Indian forces.
