LAHORE (PR): Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has launched a vigorous campaign to collect donation for flood affectees of Punjab and during its first phase Student Council of the varsity collected funds worth 1.3 millions.

Vice Chancellor Dr Sabiha Mansoor along with Director Student Council and university’s top management attended a ceremony to send two trucks of dry ration, clothes and medicines for flood hit people. Students of LCWU collected hundreds books as well as stationery for the students of flood affected areas. Director Student Affairs Prof. Shireen Asad briefed the participants about the harrowing tales of displaced families and made a passionate appeal for the help, restoration and rehabilitation of flood affectees. Vice Chancellor said that Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) is the largest and most prestigious public sector Women University in Pakistan and its students and faculty members are highly appreciable for their relief activity.
