Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas and recovered wine, narcotics and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said.

According to details, Aabpara police arrested a bootlegger Imran and recovered 10 wine bottles from him. Bhara Kahu police nabbed Ibrar for having one 30-bore pistols while Bani Gala police arrested Munir Afsar and recovered one 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from him.

Margalla police arrested Usman Ali for having one 9 mm pistol from him.

Karachi Company police apprehended two accused Ismail and Saeed Khan and recovered one 30 bore pistol each from them. Police also arrested a drug peddler Noman Rafqat and recovered 250 gram hashish from him.

Shahzad Town police arrested a drug pusher Saleem Ahmed and recovered 110 gram heroin from him. Sihala Police arrested Wajid Hussain and recovered one 30 bore pistols from him. Police also arrested Wasif for decanting gas in cylinders illegally

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. Meanwhile, police also nabbed nine professional alms-seekers during the last 24 hours. SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to intensify vigilance and patrolling measures in the city.
