Herath to take retirement call after 2016 World T20

COLOMBO - Rangana Herath, who has spearheaded the Sri Lankan bowling attack for the past six years since the retirement of Muttiah Muralitharan, says he won't make any decision on how long to carry on playing until after the end of the 2016 World Twenty20. Herath, who will turn 38 during the World Twenty20 next March, says it could come "very soon" and admits he is struggling to stay fit with recurring knee problems hindering his effectiveness. "With my age you cannot perform the way you did some 10-15 years ago.”–Agencies
