Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) workers and supporters came face to face and scuffled outside several polling stations of Lahore's NA-122 constituency, hours after polling began for by-election on the seat today.

According to reports, the first scuffle was reported from outside the polling station in Basti Syedan Shah area of Lahore, where PTI and PML-N supporters first chanted slogans against each other and then started trading punches. The enraged supporters later threw chairs at their opponents, as law enforcers tried to restore calm.

A similar scene was witnessed in Samnabad area of the city, where supporters of both opposing parties also came face to face and chanted slogans against each other. PTI and PML-N supporters also scuffled and chanted slogans outside the polling station, established at Crescent School in Shadman colony area of the city.
