GUJRANWALA-Jamaat-e-Islami activists on Friday held a demonstration against the killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces and unprovoked aggression at the Line of Control.

They urged the United Nations to implement its resolutions for plebiscite in the occupied valley. The protesters gathered at Gondlanwala Chowk where they set on fire the effigy of Indian Prime Minister Modi and shouted anti-India slogans. They held banners and placards inscribed with different slogans showing solidarity with Kashmiri people and Pak army.

The protesters were led by Khalid Chahal, the district president of JI youth wing. The speakers said, “We are with our army and Kashmiri brethren and ready to render any kind of sacrifice for the liberation of Kashmir.”
