KARACHI : K-Electric has announced that there would be no loadshedding on the 9th and 10th of Muharram so that the Moharram processions could be facilitated, says a press release issued here on Monday.
Earlier, the power utility had announced that there would be uninterrupted power supply to the sites of Majalis and the routes through which the processions are to pass right from day one. The Utility’s management is in close contact with the Commissioner Office along with other District Management Offices. K-Electric would want its consumers to know that any power interruption should not be mistaken for a loadshedding. KE teams are on a standby and the four Regional Command and Control Centers would be monitoring the electricity situation of the city 24/7.
KE’s well-equipped field teams, as always, would be available around the clock to overcome any localized fault.
Consumers may register their complaints on 118, 021-99000 or on the company’s digital platform.
