KARACHI - Asif Aijaz Sheikh, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Traffic, Karachi.

According to a notification issued by Services, General, Administration and Coordination Department of the Sindh government on Monday, Asif was serving as DIGP of the Sindh Reserve Police (SRP) from where he has been transferred and posted as DIGP Traffic, replacing DIGP Amir Ahmed Sheikh, who is on 120 days ex-Pakistan leave.

Asif has also remained posted on several positions in Sindh police.

He would assume the charge from today (Tuesday).
