The officers of National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) N-5 North Zone found a lost child in the area of Beat-02, on GT Road during a routine patrol.

The Motorway officer Inspector Islamud Din kept the child in his custody but could not locate his guardian in the surroundings. Local police was taken on board for and announcements were also made in the mosques situated in nearby vicinity.

The guardians of the child (lately known as Mustafa) approached in a short while. Little Mustafa was handed over to his heirs in the presence of witnesses and after the necessary legal proceedings.

The DIG N-5 North Zone Ashfaq Ahmed admired and appreciated the efforts of the officer and expected the same enthusiasms by all the officers of N-5 North Zone in discharge of their official obligations
