Demi Moore 'snubs' Sarah Brown on Twitter

DEMI Moore, the actress, has appeared to snub Sarah Brown, the Prime Ministers wife, on Twitter. Both women are known for their love of the micro-blogging site. Gordon Browns 45-year-old wife has successfully wooed Americas First Lady Michelle Obama, supermodel socialite Paris Hilton, on the site. Others include Queen Rania of Jordan, presenters Davina McCall, Emma Freud and Stephen Fry, DJ Chris Moyles, actor Kevin Spacey and comedian Eddie Izzard. She now has almost 700,000 followers. While Demi Moore, 46, who is married to Ashton Kutcher, 31, were among the first celebrities to help make Twittering an international phenomenon. Both have hundreds of thousands of followers on their sites - which it appeared Mrs Brown tried to add to. But on Tuesday afternoon a series of Tweets seemed to appear on Miss Moores page from Mrs Browns Twitter account. It appeared to tell the actress to Spread the word (in the USA) that Half The Sky by Nicholas Kristoff & Sheryl WuDunn comes out 2day, the Daily Mail reported. It seemed however, that her tweets were ignored in what the paper said was rather like being ignored at a social function. Twitter has enjoyed a huge increase in popularity and usage in the last 18 months. In February of this year it was announced that Twitter had increased its number of members from 100,000 to 1.78 million in just 12 months with many celebrities now have their page. Telegraph
