OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE A 25-year-old youth was shot dead allegedly by three persons over a minor dispute in Hunjarwal police area on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Naveed Ahmad, a son of Nazir Ahmad of Rinal Khurd. Police investigators said that the deceased was an employee in a factory located near Thokar Niaz Baig. They said he developed differences with his colleague namely Muhammad Zaiqum a few days back. They again quarreled on late Friday and later the matter was resolved by intervention of their friends, they added. However, Zaigum nurtured grudge against Naveed and informed his father about the incident. On which Zaigum along with his father Abbas and his friend Asif Bhatti reached the flat of Naveed and when he came out, they opened a straight bullet on him and fled the crime scene. Meanwhile, a 65-year-old man was found dead from Shah Noor Studio . The deceased, yet to be identified, was lying dead alongside a road. Police suspected that he was a drug addict. A?48-year-old man Ahsan Ul Haq of Faisalabad was recovered dead from his house in Ghalib Market police area. Police said that Ahsan, a security guard at Mega Centre located at Main Boulevard, was asthma patient for the last couple of years. On the day of incident, his colleagues visited his room and discovered him lying dead. A 47-year-old man was found as dead from a locked house located near Sharif Pura on Saturday. The deceased identified as Abdul Rehman of Lakhu Dair was found dead from a house of a widow which was locked from inside. Some neighbours of the house spotted the body and informed police police. Police broke out the door and removed the body to morgue. No official statement was released about the cause of his death till filing of this report. Some neighbours, however, said the house was owned by a widow namely Nasim Bibi. They said that whenever she goes to her native town Pattuki, she hands over the keys of the house to the deceased person and an owner of a PCO namely Malik Mushtaq. We have thoroughly checked the pockets of the deceased person but we are unable to ascertain his identity, they said, adding we are trying to contact Nasim Bibi, who had gone to Pattuki three days back, and will investigate her. An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons on the complaint of deceaseds son Gulraiz.
