ISLAMABAD - Former Test paceman Sarfraz Nawaz has said that bowlers, either pacers or spinners, should be used accordingly to get better results.

Talking to a TV channel, former cricketer Safraz Nawaz has said that the team selection for certain match should be according to the opponent team. “Inclusion of fast bowlers along with world class spinners is more important for the team in Tests. Young players should have been inducted in Pakistan's two-Test match series against Zimbabwe.

Sarfraz said Pakistan must focus in preparing good teams for next year's ICC World T20 held in Bangladesh and for the 2015 World Cup jointly staged by Australia and New Zealand in 2015.

The ex-pace bowler voiced his astonishment that talented young batsmen Umar Amin, Sohaib Maqsood and Haris Sohail were not part of Pakistan Test squad. "These youngsters are future of Pakistan cricket and their presence in the team would have made great difference,” he said.  He said that domestic cricket of our country should be on strong footing to fuse the new blood in the camp.
