Clemency for rural Punjab

Shahbaz Sharif’s efforts in making Lahore a great city are praiseworthy but may I request the CM to also pay attention to the far-flung rural areas, around and outside Lahore, where people are suffering at the hands of River Ravi for the last two decades. During that period two villages, Mullah Hamza and Miran Shah have totally been erased from the face of the earth and now Dad Baloch seems to be headed in the same direction. There is a need for protective boundaries to be made around the remaining villages and their habitants be saved from further devastation. The concerned MNA, Syed Imran Shah (NA-160), is also requested to visit the site; he has not been seen in the area since he won the seat in the elections. This is when his people need him the most.
