DARRA ADAMKHEL (NNI) - Militants in Darra Adamkhel Saturday extended ceasefire deadline in the area for ten days. A jirga of militants and five tribal elders was held at an unknown location in Darra Adamkhel. In the jirga, militants announced extension of ceasefire deadline for ten days and gave full authority to the elder for dialogue with the govt. Jirga members told the media that the dialogue between militants and security forces held in a pleasant atmosphere and both of them showed positive attitudes. In Bajaur Agency, militants increased their activities. They banned Benazir Income Support Programme and NGOs sponsored by international banks. They also prohibited the barbers not to shave beards. Militants distributed pamphlets in the area and asked the people to boycott Benazir Income Support Programme.
