LAHORE - Depression, anxiety and other mental illnesses are increasing in the general population while the treatment facilities remain inadequate. This was stated by Prof Dr IA Tareen, President Mental Health Federation here on Sunday He said unemployment, poverty and increasing cost of medicine is making it difficult for people to seek psychiatric treatment. He said the federation has organised a treatment camp for poor patients suffering from mental illnesses. This camp will provide free consultation and free medicines to the deserving patients. Experts from England will also participate in this activity. This camp will be held on Wednesday at 6-B-I, H-Block, Gulberg near Sherpao Bridge from 9.00am to 100 pm.
