SIALKOT - Health Task Force conducted raid at Basic Health Unit (BHU) at Looni-Bajwat and caught red-handed BHUs dispenser Azam while running his clinic during duty timings and using the official medicines at his clinic. Coordinator Punjab CMs Health Task Force Sialkot Asif Mehmood Soni disclosed this while talking to the newsmen here on Sunday. Coordinator Asif Soni further told the newsmen that the CM Task Force also seized a big quantity of official medicines from the private clinic of said BHUs dispenser. The Task Force also detected medicines bungling at this BHU, as medicines worth millions have been stolen from there allegedly by said dispenser. He said an illiterate youth Khalid was appointed as computer operator at BHU Looni-Bajwat on political grounds in 2007 by the then political figures of Sialkot. He said that BHU was computerised in 2007 but since then there was no computer work and all the records were being maintained manually, despite having an advanced computer system there. The task force has asked the provincial secretary health and Sialkot EDO (Health) to take stern action against the corrupt officials.
