LAHORE – Rasm-e-Chehlum of Muhammad Ali Ch, father of UK-based senior journalist Tahir Ch and Desk Editors Forum Lahore President and TheNation Assistant News Editor Aslam Ch was observed on Thursday at his residence in Allama Iqbal Town.
Dua was offered by Pir Afzal Qadri. The occasion was attended by many politicians, lawyers, journalists, traders and other dignitaries. Some prominent of them included PPP leader Jahangir Badar, PML-N former MNA Sohail Zia Butt, PPP former MPA Munir Ahmad Khan, Sohail Warraich, Anjum Rasheed, Rehamat Ali Razi, Moeen Azhar, and a large number of media persons from different newspapers attended the ceremony. They all prayed for his soul to rest in heaven.
