Bid to smuggle Saudi currency foiled at Torkham border

KHYBER AGENCY - A bid of smuggling 0.25 million Saudi riyal from Pakistan to Afghanistan was foiled by the  Frontier Corps (FC) personnel here on Torkham border, official sources informed on Saturday. They said that the troops were busy in their routine duties when they stopped an Afghanistan-bound suspected person for search. During body search, some 0.25 million Saudi currency was recovered from him. The smuggler was identified as Umra Khan son of Barat Khan, an Afghan citizen. He was sent to forces cantonment for investigation.
