Your editorial ‘Rule of Law’ says that the criminal element in Karachi has become too entrenched for the city to function peacefully, and the time to root out its Patrons is here. So far so good but the rest of your editorial expand at great length on all the legalities, which come to the aid of the criminals and their patrons, but blind the prosecutors and the judges. No wonder so many criminals and their patrons never get convicted. And pray, how can we root out the patrons of the criminal if the government’s hands are tied? How do we know when a hardened criminal will break, some never do. Your editorial will certainly please the patrons of the criminals.
