International police association reviews performance

Islamabad - The national council of International Police Association (IPA) Pakistan held its 3rd annual general meeting here on Sunday.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Muhammad Shoaib Suddle, President IPA Pakistan. Delegates from Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan and Islamabad attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed at length the overall performance of IPA Pakistan during 2014. The president appreciated the efforts of all regional committees in promoting the aims and objects of IPA. In recognition of their meritorious services, the regions were awarded certificates of appreciation by the president IPA.
The meeting approved the audited accounts of IPA Pakistan for the year 2014. A plan of action presented at the meeting for 2015 was agreed to for implementation. The plan includes enhanced professional and social activities involving IPA members from Pakistan and abroad. The meeting particularly appreciated the holding of a seminar titled “International Best Practices in Countering Terrorism” and celebrating the  “International Day for Street Children”. It was also decided to provide financial support to members of IPA Pakistan for attending international meetings for building their professional capabilities.
