PU teacher awarded

LAHORE - Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) has conferred the title of “Pakistan’s Top Scientist” in all disciplines to Prof Dr Muhammad Sharif, Chairman Department of Mathematics Punjab University, in recognition of the contributions in the field and to honor his achievements.
Prof Sharif has already been awarded with Izaz-i-Fazeelat, Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, Best University Teacher Award, Pakistan Academy of Science Gold Medal and twice Best Research Paper Award. He has been conferred the title of HEC Distinguished National Professor and has also been elected Fellow, PAS. His fields of interest include Gravitational theory, Astrophysics and Cosmology.
He has published 333 research papers in journals of international repute with non-zero IF. He has delivered more than 65 seminars in different conferences at local and international level. He has produced 12 PhD and 48 Mphil scholars and has been supervising number of Mphil and PhD students.
Punjab University Vice Chancellor has congratulated Prof Dr Muhammad Sharif on his well deserved honour.
